THE LINE-UP

Farmyard Circus, 12.15pm and 3.15pm

A warm and cheery, family-friendly, farm-life inspired circus spectacle! Fresh from their appearance at Glastonbury this year, expect a bewildering display of group acrobatics and juggling using hay bales, wheelbarrows, a tractor tyre, and even an old scarecrow! Enjoy the raucous rhythms that will bring the cows home, played live throughout!

Now I Am Become d/Deaf (Destroyer of Words), Saturday only, 1.15pm and 4.15pm

Immerse yourself in a world where the loudest actions are lost in translation, and the tiniest looks become deafening. A visual spectacle that celebrates silence, and throws a wordless ear-splitting laugh into the face of frustration – in an effort for one clown to simply say ‘hello!’

Do What Yah Mama Told Yah!, Sunday only, 1.15pm and 4.15pm

A feast of food fusion across geography and generations in this vibrant street theatre/comedy circus show! Join the mother-daughter duo on a joyous journey of a plate spinning, food juggling and fire blazing!

Circus Fun with Mr Orange, 12pm, 1.30pm, 3pm and 4.30pm

Saturday: Bubble Show

Watch the magic float through the air! Mr Orange brings his bubble wonderland to life with giant bubbles, endless tiny ones, and joyful interaction for all. With laughter, amazement, and plenty of chances to play, this delightful show is made especially for curious kids and happy hearts.

Sunday: Juggler Workshops

Join Mr Orange for a magical taste of the circus! From floating scarves to spinning plates and flying diabolo, this workshop invites everyone to discover the joy of juggling. Whether you’re a beginner or just want to have fun, it’s the perfect activity for all ages.

THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND

Pop-Up Planting Shed, 12pm to 5pm

Eco fun for little ones! Come along and plant your own sunflower seedling with the gardeners!

Our World with Rachel Priest, 12pm to 5pm

Blast off with local storyteller Rachel as she attempts to build a giant space rocket out of old cardboard boxes, egg packets, plastic bottles and any other recyclables she can get her hands on! But she needs your help – come and decorate the rocket with something you love about where you live! In this interactive exploration of identity and culture through creativity, Rachel will also ask young audiences what they would do if they discovered another planet just like ours…

Interwoven with Lucianne Canavan, 12pm to 5pm

Lucianne will be creating a large-scale collaborative tapestry with a wire base for Warrington Arts Festival – and you’re all invited! With an emphasis on sustainability, the lively sessions will explore textured weaving with fabric scraps and waste yarn. This activity is a celebration of Warrington’s industrial heritage with weaving and wire!

Family Portrait Painting Workshop with WingYu Yeung, 1pm to 5pm

This inclusive, hands-on session invites families to create meaningful portraits of one another through colour, connection, and creative play. Or simply sit back and enjoy a quick live portrait drawn by WingYu to take home as a keepsake! Perfect for all ages and abilities — come as you are, and leave with a portrait full of love and creativity.

MEET THE CREATURES OF THE GARDEN

The Seedkeepers, 12pm, 1.45pm and 3.45pm

These gorgeous figures will awaken your imagination and make you believe in all things magical. Inspired by the carnivalesque figures of South America and Spain named Mojigangas and Cabezones, and by the stories of the many women of the world trying to protect the world’s seeds in their natural form.

Meadow Sprites, 12.45pm, 2.30pm and 4.30pm

Charming, cheeky and thoroughly engaging, these magical creatures have flown in from the meadow to explore the human world. Watch them as they fly and flit about, spreading summer’s warmth and tales of their woodland habitat.

Thank you for supporting Warrington Arts Festival.

It’s our mission to ensure that everyone in Warrington has access to great arts, culture and entertainment.

This is why you will see that most of our events are free to attend, including this one.

As a charity, Culture Warrington relies on your donations to ensure we can create more attractions like this in the future that are accessible to all.

Any and all donations are always greatly appreciated, thank you.
