YOUR VISIT
We’ve created some useful information to ensure you have a fantastic experience at Warrington Arts Festival, but if we haven’t covered something please get in touch. You can email us at info@culturewarrington.org
Where is the festival located?
The festival is held at various venues and pop-up locations throughout the town. The venue for each activity, performance or installation will be clearly stated on our what’s on page. All locations will also be included within our brochure map.
How can I find out about the schedule?
Our complete line-up and schedule will be available on our website or pick up a programme and map at the opening weekend from one of our volunteers. We will be posting about each event on our social media channels.
How can I purchase / book tickets?
Several of our events are free and unticketed, however some require booking a ticket. Visit our ‘What’s On’ page to see more details on each event.
Are there any age restrictions for attending the festival?
The festival is family-friendly and open to guests of all ages. Certain performances or areas, however, may have age restrictions due to the nature of content. Please check the event schedule for more details.
Why are some events free?
We want to ensure that everyone can experience high quality arts and culture within their town, and this is why most of our events are free of charge, while others only ask for a nominal charge to help with costs. Culture Warrington is a charitable trust so if you would like to make a small donation you can do so by clicking here.
Will the festival be cancelled if it rains?
We will have a wet weather plan in place for our outdoor events and make changes to the time/location if required. Any changes to our programme will be communicated through our social media channels.
What facilities are available for guests with disabilities?
We strive to make our festival accessible to everyone and we are dedicated to ensuring that our events and activities are accessible and can be enjoyed by everyone in our community. As part of our commitment to this, we will produce a full access guide which will be available on our ‘Accessibility‘ page by 27 June.
What types of food and beverages are available?
A variety of food vendors will be on-site at our Family Garden Party event offering a variety of food and drink options. At our other events, we encourage you to purchase food and drinks at one of Warrington’s fantastic town centre restaurants, cafes, bars or pubs.
Can I bring my pet?
Furry friends are welcome to come to our outdoor events if they remain on a lead. Only service animals are permitted within our venues.
What security measures are in place at the festival?
The safety of our attendees is a top priority. We will have comprehensive security measures in place, security personnel throughout the festival, first aid trained staff and clearly marked emergency exits.
