Warrington Arts Festival is a long standing combined annual arts festival produced by Culture Warrington.

The festival has been providing a platform for Warrington creatives for more than a decade, and in 2024 relaunched after receiving investment from the Arts Council England’s Place Partnership Fund ensuring the festival celebrates our town through arts, culture, people and place.

The new team have been working tirelessly, meeting, chatting and consulting with thousands of people from our town. This in-depth consultation has fed into our festival programme, ensuring that Warrington Arts Festival is created with, by, and for the people of Warrington.

We have achieved this by:

  •  Continuing to support local artists, increasing the number of opportunities for artists to make and present work through the festival programme.
  • Appointing four new Associate Artists all from Warrington who are making vibrant new work nationally.
  • Introducing new programmes for communities to learn new skills, shape and be a part of our festival.
  • Putting a spotlight on Warrington’s children and young people making them a key focus for the festival.

The reimagined Warrington Arts Festival in 2024 was a huge success bringing together international acts, local creatives and our community over 9 days to present a diverse programme.

We welcomed 58,018 visitors to Warrington Arts festival.

We commissioned 216 creatives, many of these were from Warrington.

We were supported by 106 volunteers.

We presented the festival within 11 different locations across the town centre.
